Conurwines is a wine brand born in Portland, Oregon, founded by four friends whose passion for wine, friendship, and football brought them together over time. The project seeks to blend two worlds: the Argentine wine tradition, which is part of their roots, and the freshness and innovation of Portland, Oregon, where the project took place.
The challenge was to create a visual identity that captured this fresh and laid-back essence, reflecting their story and personality in a unique way. For the logo, we developed an exclusive typography that combines their name, a wine glass, and the footprint of the brand character: Sote (which I’ll explain further).
Just like the memories shared with friends, the design of the labels is inspired by vintage football tickets, torn in half, that we kept as memories.
The central character of Conurwines is Sote, the dog of two of the founding partners, who, more than just a pet, is the soul of the brand. Sote represents the loyalty, joy, and authenticity that the creators wanted to convey through their project. Each label is infused with Sote’s story and the values that accompany him: love for their friends, football, and enjoying good times.
