Galvin is a coffee shop and bakery located in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. A space that blends simplicity with something special, where great coffee, freshly baked bread, and good energy come together in a relaxed and sunny atmosphere. The project was to create a series of illustrations that captured that spirit: Playful, spontaneous, full of personality and life.
We developed a main character for the brand —a tero (a bird native to Uruguay)— shown in everyday scenes around the café. I also illustrated the storefront, aiming to reflect its unique and easygoing vibe, with a touch of humor and charm.
It was a very special project for me: one of the first I did internationally, and a meaningful step in my journey as an illustrator.
